1962 Chevrolet Impala

White, chrome, and the blue spear down the side.

It is a full-size American sedan, not a stretch limousine. People hire it because it looks like itself. Liam McLean drives it. The keys do not go out on hire.

Practical things, before you book.

Room

A couple has the car to themselves. Four passengers is full. There is boot space for a dress and a few bags, not for a house move.

Children

No modern child-seat anchors. Ask Liam about seatbelts for your group before you decide the Impala is the right car.

A song at the door

If you want something playing when you pull up, tell him with the booking. He will say if the car can do it.

Rain

It is a hardtop. The ribbon still goes on. Photos just happen under a porch.

He covers Wellington City, the Hutt Valley, and Porirua inside the printed price. Kapiti is $80 more. The Wairarapa is $120 more. Anywhere past that, ask first.
